A rekey is the process of changing your current locks to a different key, and it's usually cheaper than buying all new locks and having someone install them. I've been providing rekey services since 2011, and I pride myself on being one of the most affordable locksmiths in the area. I recommend a rekey with a new key rather than using a current one due to potential wear and pinning issues. Additionally, if your locks are from Amazon or eBay, they may not follow standard lock specs, and some of them are not rekeyable.
